QRIS Payment

Introduced in 2019 by Bank Indonesia and ASPI, the country’s central bank, the QRIS platform aims to streamline and standardize digital transactions by implementing a universal QR code system. With QRIS, you can utilize different payment methods, including e-wallets, debit cards, credit cards, and bank transfers, with a single QR code without the need for cash.

As a merchant, you’ll enjoy multiple benefits of a simplified financial transaction, while your consumers can shop with you regardless of the wallet where their money is stored. What’s more, foreign tourists can also use the QRIS platform because InterActive QRIS operates based on international standards.

Features and Benefits

The QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) platform in Indonesia offers several essential features and benefits:

  • Two method notification
  • Free POS software
  • Static and dynamic QRIS
  • Multiple QR codes per person

With QRIS, you’ll enjoy two ways to check notifications – the QRIS Application and the QRIS dashboard. You can check incoming transactions. Additionally, the Login dashboard acts as a hub of all transactions.

There’s also a free POS cashier software, which gives you all the features to support multiple forms of orders, from takeout to reservations or delivery. You’ll also enjoy access to the InterActive MyProfit POS Cashier Application, an integrated payment system with QR codes.

The static and dynamic QR codes allow you to manage integration with InterActive MyProfit and non-cash payments. The static (fixed) QR code contains the merchant ID and is generated only once. On the other hand, the dynamic QR code is generated for each transaction separately. Dynamic codes support all major mobile wallets, such as OVO, GoPay, DANA, LinkAja, Shopee Pay, and WeChat Pay.

Finally, one business owner can create several QRIS, which will all be monitored on one simple dashboard. This solution is ideal if you’re looking to expand business to various branches as you can check and control transactions for each outlet.

QRIS transactions are secure, utilizing encryption and authentication protocols to protect users’ financial information. With QRIS, your consumers will enjoy seamless payments and transactions by scanning a QR code, reducing the hassle of carrying physical cash or cards.

How to Get Started

Visit the Home page and click the Register button to get started with QRIS payments. You’ll be presented with a form, asked to upload your ID, and fill in other important information about you and your business.

Remember, companies must be legal entities with legal files. Once you register and fill out the form, you’ll be asked to explain the software transaction process, sign the documents, and you’ll receive the API key.

Besides the registration, QRIS offers a service center that will be at your disposal from 09.00 to 17.00 during work days. There’s also a WhatsApp discussion forum where you can discuss issues with other users and find solutions faster. There’s also a chatbot on the website that can answer the basic questions or point you to solutions.

If you decide to file a complaint, know that QRIS will accept complaints printed by only PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. You’ll find the NNS from the QRIS provider on the Service Limitations page.
