April at Akurateco focused on scaling platform capabilities, improving routing intelligence, and expanding integrations.
We delivered key product updates, including enhanced Smart ID logic, smarter routing decisions, and improved transaction visibility, giving merchants more control, better insights, and stronger fraud protection. At the same time, we continued expanding payment connectivity to support faster growth across regions.
Looking ahead, May will bring deeper integrations, further routing optimization, and new opportunities to scale globally 🚀
Product Updates Digest
This release delivers stronger routing intelligence, better merchant controls, broader payment connectivity, and more operational transparency across the platform. We added 8 new connectors and updated 6.
- Smarter Routing amp; Returning Payer Recognition
Smart ID functionality was refined to provide more transparent and accurate payer identification. Instead of relying on basic card matching, Smart ID now combines payer identification parameters (confidence level) with transaction statistics to determine whether a payer is returning.
To simplify interpretation, the confidence score has been redesigned from a numerical scale (0–1) into three clear categories: low, medium, high
In addition to basic transaction counts, routing decisions can now leverage extended statistical metrics, including:
- approval ratio
- chargeback history
- historical sales volume
- customer lifetime
- confidence level of payer match
This combined approach enables more accurate segmentation of trusted vs. unknown payers and supports smarter routing decisions.
Business impact: Higher approval rates, lower fraud exposure, and more precise routing based on both identity confidence and real transaction behavior.
We are constantly updating our platform to make it more convenient for our customers. Want to learn how Akurateco can revolutionize payment processes for your business? Feel free to contact our experts or visit our website.
- Better Transaction Visibility amp; Access Management
The Transactions module received several upgrades designed for operational teams and administrators.
New capabilities include:
- role-based hiding of sensitive fields such as company, connector, or MID
- extended routing logs showing why a transaction followed a specific path
- surcharge data available directly in transaction lists and exports
- separate display of applied surcharge amounts for easier reconciliation
Business impact: Improved internal security, faster issue investigation, and stronger reporting transparency.
- Merchant Automation amp; External System Sync
Merchants can now send successful transaction callbacks not only to their main endpoint, but also to external systems such as ERP, CRM, or internal finance tools.
In addition, debit payment flows now support sending card tokens in callbacks, helping merchants support repeat payments without storing card data.
Business impact: Simpler integrations, faster automation, easier reconciliation, and smoother customer payment journeys.
- Compliance amp; Fraud Prevention
A new merchant-country validation rule was introduced to verify that transaction data matches the merchant’s approved registration country.
This helps providers enforce internal compliance requirements and detect suspicious mismatches before processing.
Business impact: Lower compliance risk, stronger fraud controls, and safer transaction processing.
- Faster Connector Configuration
For selected payment connectors, endpoint URLs can now be adjusted through configuration rather than code changes. This is especially valuable for providers that frequently update or customize their API paths.
Business impact: Faster maintenance, less dependency on development teams, and quicker response to provider-side changes.
This release helps merchants process payments more intelligently, scale integrations faster, improve reporting visibility, and strengthen control over routing and compliance , all while supporting better conversion and operational efficiency.
