March at Akurateco was focused on platform evolution, strategic expansion, and industry engagement. ⚡

We rolled out major product updates, enhancing payment flexibility, routing precision, and operational control from advanced tokenization and recurring debit support to improved routing logic and financial visibility tools.

At the same time, we expanded our global reach through new integrations and partnerships across LATAM and Asia, while actively participating in key fintech events like MPE Berlin and PAY360.

We also continued sharing insights on AI, payment orchestration, and infrastructure scalability through new content and discussions with the industry.

April continues this momentum with new releases, deeper integrations, and more opportunities to connect with the global payments community. 🚀

Product Updates Digest

This release enhances payment flexibility, routing precision, and operational control, while expanding support for new use cases and integrations.

  • Tokenization & COF Enhancements

We introduced full support for Card-on-File (COF) with clear handling of CIT and MIT transactions, including proper identification of initiator, sequence, and payment source.

Business impact: Improved compliance with card scheme requirements, better control over transaction types, and optimized processing of repeat payments.

  • Recurring Debit & Scheduling

Recurring payments are now supported for debit transactions, including tokenization and flexible scheduling via schedule_id.

Business impact: Enables subscription and automated billing scenarios across both debit and card payment flows.

  • Checkout & Merchant Experience

Merchants can now define checkout language dynamically via API, and a new Merchant Wizard simplifies onboarding by combining all setup steps into a single guided flow.

Business impact: Faster onboarding, improved localization, and reduced operational errors.

  • Routing & Transaction Identification

We introduced a new strict ID-based matching condition in Custom Routing, enabling transaction search by exact parameter match (without confidence scoring). Additionally, improved handling of 3DS/callback edge cases ensures correct cascade behavior.

Business impact: More precise routing decisions, improved fraud control, and higher transaction success rates.

  • MID & Processing Flexibility

A single MID can now support both SMS and DMS flows, including dynamic selection via API (auth parameter).

Business impact: Simplified configuration and greater flexibility without the need for multiple MIDs.

  • Automation & Financial Control

We introduced:

  • Automatic timeout-based transaction finalization
  • Enhanced settlement types (Operational / Rolling Release separation)
  • New Remaining Balance API for real-time visibility

Business impact: Reduced manual effort, improved financial clarity, and better control over transaction lifecycle.

  • Integrations & Coverage

Added support for DinaCard and implemented external protocol emulation (Nux API) for faster integrations
