Payeezy

Payeezy is a business-oriented platform, with a strong focus on guiding small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in establishing and growing their online stores. The platform was owned by First Data, a premier payment solution provider, headquartered in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This organization had the largest client base in the industry – over 6 million merchants globally.

As an industry leader, Payeezy offered several solutions for merchants, such as webstores, secure and fraud-resistant payment handling, comprehensive reporting, seamless cross-border transactions, and swift currency conversions.

Unfortunately, Payeezy which merchants know and use today, will be discontinued on August 31st, 2023. Estimates showed that the Payeezy platform and its resellers handled about 45% of all credit and debit transactions while in operation.

Payeezy will transition to Clover Gateway, and, which will be owned by Fiserv, a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions.

What To Know Before Starting

Payeezy is a powerful payment solution, yet it doesn’t apply in some scenarios. The US merchants that deal with firearms, gambling, pharmacy, and tobacco products and services should consider alternative solutions.

Payeezy offers a test environment for organizations that want to explore the features before registering. Once you create an account, you’ll be assigned a unique APIKey for test transactions. Signing-in merchants will become available after you certify your solution and complete the registration.

To create your account, fill in your first and last name, email address, and select a business from a drop-down menu.
