July was all about intelligence, efficiency, and user-first improvements at Akurateco. From AI-powered enhancements that decode decline reasons in real time to more intuitive routing and cascading logic, we’ve focused on making the payment experience smarter and friction-free for both merchants and payers. Add to that new language support and deeper global integration, and we’re one step closer to a truly seamless, borderless payment ecosystem.
We’re just getting started — July will bring even more innovation to the table!
New Features
- We’ve introduced AI-powered auto-translation for decline messages on the checkout page. Instead of manually mapping decline codes for each acquirer or provider, our system now intelligently translates technical decline reasons into human-friendly language using AI. This significantly reduces the need for ongoing manual updates and simplifies issue resolution for both merchants and support teams.
- Routing and cascading — two of our most critical orchestration features — have been enhanced for greater flexibility and control. Merchants can now configure routing rules based on grouped countries, making regional optimization faster and more intuitive. We’ve also optimized cascading logic for debit and transfer operations, including scenarios where the payer drops off the checkout page. These updates ensure seamless fallback handling and a more frictionless user experience.
- To support our clients’ global reach, we’ve added Traditional Chinese as an available language on the checkout interface. This enhancement allows merchants to better serve users in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and other regions where Traditional Chinese is the preferred language.
- We’ve improved the logic behind setting daily limits for MID and merchant mapping configurations. The new system reduces the number of steps needed to apply limits and intelligently anticipates admin actions, resulting in a more streamlined and user-friendly experience.
Connector Updates
We added 9 new integrations and updated 3 existing connectors to expand coverage and improve functionality.
