April was eventful, productive, and inspiring for the Akurateco team. These experiences brought fresh market insights, strengthened our industry connections, and reaffirmed our commitment to delivering adaptable, future-proof payment solutions.
Stay tuned — we have even more exciting updates and insights coming soon!
New Features
1. Transaction module: flexible selection of a period in hours and minutes
We have added the ability to select a specific time to view transactions, not just for a day or a week, but with an accuracy of hours and minutes. This allows customers to generate reports and view transaction lists for the desired time interval. The change has made the process much more convenient for those who do not want to work with large data sets for the entire day but want to focus on a specific period.
2. New Custom Routing improvements: copying routing settings
We have implemented a convenient function for copying routing configurations from one merchant to another using a JSON structure. This allows you to quickly transfer existing settings, make the necessary changes to the configuration, and quickly apply it to other merchants. The functionality significantly saves time and simplifies system administration.
3. Extended Protocol Mapping: Extended Data
We have expanded the capabilities of protocol mapping and added support for Extended Data. In response to merchant requests (for example, when receiving transaction status), extended data received from the acquirer can be additionally returned. This allows you to customize the structure of callback messages and flexibly configure what additional information to return in the response, depending on the merchant’s needs.
We also updated 7 connectors and added 9 new integrations.
New Integrations
Among our recent integrations is InTouch. With a presence in 27 countries, nearly 4,000 corporate clients, and a network of 60,000 TouchPoints across Africa, this solution allows our clients to offer more local payment methods to their users.
We have also updated integrations for open banking processing. This opens up additional opportunities for accepting payments and working with local bank transfers in several regions.
What Else is New?
The month has been filled with valuable insights, dynamic discussions, and strategic networking for Akurateco. Our team actively participated in key fintech events, gaining fresh perspectives and contributing to conversations shaping the future of the payment industry.
- One of the highlights was Pay360 in London, where our Director of Business Development, Uldis Paberzis, returned with a wealth of insights and inspiration. The event brought exciting discussions around AI-powered fraud detection, real-time payments, and future-ready payment solutions. We’re grateful to industry leaders like Martin Golding, Anton Cebanu, Wayne Maraj, Isaac Umejiaku, Mor Gelbart, and Scott Reidy for the engaging conversations and thought-provoking ideas. These connections continue to fuel our drive for innovation.
- In parallel, our founder, Andrew Riabchuk, hosted a roundtable at the Merchant Payments Ecosystem, titled “Payment Orchestration: The Shortcut for Banks and PSPs to Launch New Products & Services”. One of the key insights shared was the importance of seamless integration of modern solutions into the outdated infrastructures of traditional banks and PSPs. Andrew emphasized that payment orchestrators must innovate and ensure adaptability for existing systems — a challenge Akurateco is already successfully meeting.
