Is Akurateco a payment service provider?
No. Akurateco is payment software. We never hold or settle funds. Apple Pay transactions are authorised and settled by the acquirers and PSPs connected to your Akurateco platform.

Any connected acquirer or PSP that supports Apple Pay. Akurateco has 700+ pre-built integrations and adds new ones on request.
Does Apple Pay work with on-premises deployments?

Do I need to change my checkout to accept Apple Pay?
Not if you use the Akurateco hosted payment page: the Apple Pay button appears automatically on supported devices. With a custom checkout, you pass the Apple Pay payment token to the Akurateco API.
