Akurateco is a payment orchestration & white-label payment gateway software provider, a fully brandable solution with 250+ integrated payment providers worldwide allowing users to own a ready-to-use PCI DSS payment gateway and manage multiple payment channels in one single place.

We’re expanding our team and looking for a Quality Assurance Team Lead!

Requirements:

  • At least,  2 years of experience in a leadership position, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Deep knowledge of testing methodologies and processes;
  • Strong skills in API testing (Postman or similar), experience with automated testing (e.g. Selenium);
  • Experience in writing test scripts in programming languages ​​(Python, Java, or others);
  • Experience with testing frontend languages ​​(HTML, CSS, JS);
  • Experience working with databases: MySQL, knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC), skills in working with JIRA, Confluence;
  • Understanding and experience of working with web services;
  • Experience with versioning systems (GIT);
  • Experience in agile development methodologies, knowledge of Agile principles;
  • Experience with the Scrum framework, including participation in Scrum events;
  • Understanding of Kanban principles and experience with Kanban boards for task management;
  • Knowledge of the English language at the Intermediate level.

Will be a plus:

  • Work experience in the fields of finance, banking, telecommunications from 1 year;
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, ELK stack, RabbitMQ, Docker, JMeter;
  • Experience with UNIX systems, basic knowledge of BASH;
  • Experience with microservice application architecture;
  • Certifications in the field of testing

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of testers;
  • Developing a testing strategy and ensuring its implementation;
  • Coordination of team work to achieve project goals;
  • Support and development of testing processes;
  • Ensuring the quality and effectiveness of testing;
  • Interaction with other departments to resolve emerging issues and problems;
  • Functional, regression, smoke, UI/API testing;
  • Management of the QA process through the SDLC;
  • Creating and maintaining test documentation (writing acceptance criteria, bug reports, test plans, checklists, test cases, etc.).
